My phone rang earlier today and found out that my boyfriend was outside my flat. I wasn’t prepared for his coming; he had bouquet of roses and chrysanthemum on his hand – a gesture for today’s first anniversary. A warm embrace was too good for the moment when I heard his fast heartbeat. In a second, he said he couldn’t live without me and that the year we had has been awesome. I pulled back and saw the ring on his hand! “Will you marry me?“, he said. I was flabbergasted with the startling question, mostly hoped for and much awaited, I was overwhelmed! Yes! Yes! Of course, I said Yes!
So, oh, this is how it feels! This is more surreal than I have ever thought. It’s a moment of choosing something beyond the comforts of a romantic relationship. It’s a split-of-a-second decision that has been thoroughly considered – a lifetime promise of something deeper and more serious, arrrghhh – It’s just the best!
My fiancé is the man of my prayers. He is just the right one! I believe on what they said, “you know it when you know it”. It just happens!
I’m still overwhelmed, I’m lost for words. My heart is full.
“He has made everything beautiful in His time.” -Ecclesiastes 3:11
