Cycling at Al Qudra Cycle Track

Before embracing the summer of 2019, my friends and I pedaled the 85-km uninterrupted loop. Of course we were not able to finish the entire track, yet we had so much fun cycling along the glorious and picturesque desert that’s home of sandland’s Oryx, camels, among others.

Weekend 2 Hour bike rent with helmet for AED 95 per person

To give you a quick overview, the track is owned by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Anyone can cycle for free and should you need some bikes, paid rentals are for grabs. Rent rates vary on weekdays and weekends which cover up to 24-hour use of bike (of your choice) and a helmet. One night, we just found ourselves planning for a weekend getaway and ended up booking for Straight bar road bikes here.

Giddy and excited, we reached the track around 20 minutes before the confirmed schedule. Tardiness of half an hour would mean cancellation so we made sure to make it on time. Trek Bicycle Store got what every biker needs – bikes, apparel, equipment, services, rentals, to say the least. Upon getting there, we got our bicycles, in no time, we were ready to hit the road. We had only 2 hours of fun, but that was extendable with additional charge.

The place has restaurants, cafeterias, toilet and shower rooms. You might want to get fresh after the ride, the shower rooms are all primed for use.

It was a pedal-power paradise with epic cycling experience. We were sore but it was all well-spent!
